Carries out port infrastructure construction (embankments,
channels, quays)
Monitors the concession given to the CCI
The CCI
Ensures the commercial operations (cranes, hangars, port site)
Manages the port finances (port fees and equipment fees*)
Carries out trade canvassing (looking for new services or clients)
* Two types of fees :
- Port fees claimed by Customs and paid to the CCI
- 1) Vessel fees (according to volume)
- 2) merchandise fees (according to tonnage)
- equipment fees for the hire of cranes and personnel, invoiced by the stevedoring company
